Why African Cities seeks to inform, challenge and inspire towards united collaborative ministry initiatives in response to these pressing demographic shifts.
With contributions by 25 authors from 8 nations, this is a compilation of stories from people who have been journeying together in response to the stubborn realities of Africa.

Our Learning Community
Movement Day Scholars Program
Equipping local leaders for the spiritual and social flourishing of their city.
The Scholars Program provides a leadership journey to catalyze Christian leaders to spiritually and socially impact the urban centers in which they live, work and do ministry.
This is accomplished through connecting, unifying, equipping and motivating
your time commitment availability. It is highly recommended that you participate as a team, with at least 4 other leaders in your church, community, market place, who can partner with you for the transformation of your city.

Movement Day Learning Community
The MDLC is a monthly zoom gathering of city-gospel practitioners from around the world. Our purpose it to inspire, educate, and celebrate ways that God is moving across cities globally. We share best practices that will assist you in your city-wide efforts. We have met monthly for the past ten years.”
It takes place on the second Thursday of each month at 1PM CAT, for one hour.

Africa Learning Community (ALC)
This is a bi-monthly online learning community, dealing with matters that are relevant to the African context.
It involves a growing group of African leaders from across the continent, and from different sectors of society, coming together to learn, and to engage with one another around the issues of the day.
ALC has previously done learning series on African Youth, Mental health for leaders, and is currently doing a series on Entrepreneurship.
The next ALC event will take place on Thursday 30 July, 4pm CAT | 2pm GMT | 5pm EAT.
